Just cause it's Ice, doesnt mean it's not Darkness. Like, what? I meam, Stasis having the qualities of Ice is pretty clever. Stasis relating to time, freezing time, freezing, ice. It's not a huge revelation, but it's cool

Stasis is ice like, so I don't blame people for calling it ice. It is Darkness in the way Solar is the Light. As Solar is a weaponized form of Light, Stasis is a weaponized version of Darkness. Now, why ice? That is likely to do with the Darkness' nature. Our Light-based abilities impart energy to destroy, the Darkness takes energy.
I think the new hunter melee its precision based and not something as simple as a body shot. And maybe if you get a precision hit your rewarded with the second melee that will freeze.
This might be a stretch, but about the new House of Darkness banners being black symbol on white background…
Maybe it's symbolic, saying that their foundation and background is of the Light, with them being the Traveler's chosen before- but their House Sigil, their very identity, is aligned with the Dark? Just a spinfoil theory i had.
